FIRST MONARCH OF 2012

...and if you look just to the left of the berries, you will see the chrysalis shell. I never get tired of gazing at these beautiful creatures.

  1. A monarch in January??? How incredible! Maybe not for you but I don't see them till summer. They are so beautiful. I love their polk dots.

  2. I never tire of seeing Monarch butterflies, either. Needless to say we don't get them over here except at butterfly farms.
