Since the enduring drought (140+ days with very little rain) here in the South continues to challenge those of us nurturing gardens, I felt compelled to combine two elements.
The fragility of life is symbolized by each flower.
The continuity of time symbolized by the enduring qualities of stone.
Someday it will rain again....someday....someday....
Each of these garden stones has a story; a story I should share in the future.
Visit our host, Carol, at May Dreams Gardens at http://www.maydreamsgardens.com/ for more stories and more gardens. She's also on my sidebar favorites. :-)

I wish I can send some rain for your plants. Thank you for stopping by and commenting on my last GBBD. I will make some more videos soon.
ReplyDeleteI always love your creative compositions! It's been incredibly dry here too and we finally got a downpour the other day. Of course it's been so smoky from the Georgia fires that the rain smelled like a campfire! My drenched clothes smelled like a barbecue, and today visibility was nil... and my car is covered in ashes. But at least it rained! :)
ReplyDeleteWell your garden may be dry but your photos are wonderful. I can't imagine being without rain for that long... Larry
ReplyDeleteI love the view of the back garden, it looks great despite the weird weather.
ReplyDeleteLike the shot of the blue daze blossoms & stone. With the lack of rain in Texas, I'm considering changing my garden to stone sculptures! May rain find us both. Happy GBBD!
ReplyDeleteYou have some great blooms going on there. I love the tropical looks. Doesn't work as well, here.
ReplyDeleteHope we all get some nice gentle rain soon.
