MACRO MONDAY ~ LAST OF THE FLOWERS....I HEAR JACK FROST COMING!

Unless I make it to December 15th and GBBD, this will be the last of the flowers for this season.

Mist flower

Aloe saponaria with some cool geometric patterns.

Purple Setcreasea with green leaves

Cyperus alternifolius (Umbrella papyrus) and some serious leaf geometry

  3. That Mexican Butterflyweed is just crazy...but I am fond of the Aloe saponaria. My mother plant bloomed once, years ago...never since. She is always having babes though.

  8. My soap aloes never, ever bloom in winter. Hmmmm.... What am I doing wrong? Love the Butterfly Weed and Mistflower. Too hard to pick one fave. Hoping your frost delays as long as possible....
