I am one of those gardeners entranced with Macro Mondays. Here are some
of my best shots from 2011. Visit our gracious host, Lisa, at http://lisaschaos.com/
for more wonderful closeups. Thanks, Lisa, for another year of hosting!

For beautiful background music, click here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3e5DVNb6bCA&feature=related (El condor pasa), then open a second tab on google and type in Tropical Texana. By the time you get the second tab up and going, the music should fit. The music FAR outlasts the little slideshow, but hey, free music....free garden blog to tour around....and free pictures to download...what more could you want! :0) LOL
A recent leaf from our Rain tree (Koelreuteria elegans)

Great slideshow! It certainly was a great photography year for you.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your slideshow. A glimpse of warmth on a cold winter's eve.
ReplyDeleteGreat slide show! I may need to figure out how to do this.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant macro slideshow. There were so many fantastic close-ups but I just loved the shots of the white stamens and those Iris petals.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! I'll have to give it a try on my blog some day...
ReplyDeleteVery nice light on this Rain tree leaf. Good job on the slide show as well, hope this year will be equally good for you.
ReplyDeleteLove the slideshow and so many gorgeous shots to choose from!
ReplyDeleteAwesome!!! I especially like the stamin of the plant/flower just after the one that has the rain drops on the leaves. Magical in so many ways.
ReplyDeleteMACRO 'SHROOMS If you can find time, stop by and say "howdy"!!
You show some nice memories. January is a time of reflection. I went out in the damp this morning to poke among dead stems and dream of spring.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness...everyone of the shots in the slideshow is amazing! I especially like the ones that are black and white. So dramatic. If you have time to stop by my site I would really appreciate it. www.forgottencompass.com Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYou certainly captured some wonderful macro shots last year!
ReplyDeleteLove your slide show David. All the images are superb, but my favorite was the black leaves with the raindrops. That image was pure poetry.
ReplyDeleteDavid oh so fab images.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! I really enjoyed the slideshow. I look forward to exploring your blog further!
ReplyDeleteSimple but lovely rain tree shot. The slide show is a great idea.
ReplyDeleteOoh, love your macros. Congratulations on such a great year of photos!
ReplyDeleteWow David! What beautiful macro shots. I love macro photographs and all of the details that show up that you would never see otherwise on plants and insects. Great job!
