Thank you for that photo of the neon skimmer - Kevin & I visited Texas for the first time earlier this month and I was amazed when I saw this brilliant dragon-fly like creature hovering over a pond in one of the gardens we visited - now I know what it was that I saw. Sadly I can't help you with your id quest - all I can say, is that he appears to be very, very hungry!
