WORDLESS WEDNESDAY ~ ADDAMS FAMILY HANGING BASKET

If you remember Morticia cutting off beautiful roses and just keeping the stems, you'll appreciate this lovely hanging basket.  It's in our garden and I just can't bear to throw it away. It kinda grows on you after awhile.
I tried to find out if there's a real Addams Family Mansion. The closest match is the one below.

Addams Family Look alike ~ Saline, Michigan
Do you have any Addams Family Dead Plants in your garden?

  2. Oh what a cool house! I want to go inside! Yes, I'm sure I have a plant around somewhere like that. Born with a brown thumb but I try. :) Happy WW!

  3. I have a plant in my front yard that's working very hard to look just like that photo. My grandmother always said that I shouldn't throw away a plant if it looks as if there's a breath of life left.

  4. Oh yes....not dead but looks a little like it should be Pseudopanax ferox or toothed lancewood. Oh and Cotoneaster corokia is also pretty Morticia Adams. And that's why I love it!

  6. Very abstract and an ideal hotel for insects too - dead plants all too commonly appear in my garden :(

    Happy WW

  8. I have a big ceramic pot that looks just like your basket - now I shall tell visitors that it's an 'original Addams' and stop feeling ashamed of it!
