GOOD-BYE JULY

Pictures from July, our Vacation, and Photography Fun
His & Her Bathtubs for the serious Gardener (Medina Valley Greenhouses)

Medina Valley Greenhouses ~ Castroville, Texas

Beautiful Garden Cafe in downtown Castroville, Texas

Our favorite river in Texas, the Sabinal (at Utopia on the River)

I've always wanted to turn this tree in to the Texas Forest Service. Turns out it's already been measured. It's the 3rd largest Bald Cypress in Texas

International Waterlily Collection ~ San Angelo, Texas

We get up close to a wind farm near Cristoval, Texas. You could hear them whoosh, but the place was so remote that no one could be bothered. It wasn't loud like a giant diesel engine on a pumpjack...so my vote's for wind.

The Japanese Peace Garden at the Nimitz Center in Frederickburg, Texas. Always inspiring.

Happy Gardening from Tropical Texana. :-)

  1. Oh, what a beautiful area you live in. I would love to visit your part of Texas someday. Isn't it wonderful what you can grow in a tropical climate?

  2. Thanks Noelle.
If you ever visit, please tell me. My family usually finds out of the way places off the beaten path. You'd need a map! :-)
Also, as someone from Arizona already knows, Spring is the best time to visit.

  3. I just visited the Japanese Peace Garden a few weeks ago--beautiful and restful. You got better pictures than I did with my cell phone--ha!
