PEAR LEAF ART ~ HAPPY MACRO MONDAY

The pear trees are just perfect right now. Each leaf is like a work of art from Mother Nature.
Red with Green Veins

A feather pattern of brown, olive green, and yellow.

Fiery orange and green.

Splotches of green on a brilliant red background.

Green veins with deep red and a black edge.
These pear leaves only last a day and then turn brown and almost black like this one.

When we were picking these up today, lots of other people were on the same sidewalk.
But only my wife and I seemed to notice the beauty that others were stepping on.
People in the city are just too busy!
Stop and smell the flowers....and stop and pick up the leaves as well! :0)

Thanks for stopping by.

  15. Hiya David,
How have you been? I have been away from the blogging world and the reason can be found in my blog. How are you feeling today? I know you are also a school teacher!! It's unimaginable.
Very good lesson to learn from here. It's true - we all don't know how to find the beauty, even I don't though I have a large pear tree in my backyard. I should start developing all these. Thanks for such a wonderful insight. Also, absolutely brilliant photography.
    Merry Christmas (if you celebrate),
