WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT DO YOU WANT?

We have a new visitor at Tropical Texana.

I'm thrilled to think that out of all of the gardens in this part of the city, mine was deemed wild enough.

We are going to take this one step at a time, especially since you've decided that my garden shed makes a nice home.

...for a mother raccoon and her BABIES?!?
I'm certain cute raccoon baby photos are coming in the near future.
In the meantime, I need to pick out a nice forest home for this family since I also have chickens.
Stay tuned and thanks for stopping by.

  1. Raccoon are cute but, you do gotta watch out for your chickens : ) Can't blame the raccoon for picking your garden. It looks like a great place to have the babies!

  3. Oh, no! We have these every year. One year we had a mother and 5 babies!!! They were cute, but so many! We haven't seen many raccoons since the drought. I wonder what happened to them. Good luck with yours!

  4. Oh no! Raccoons look cute in cartoons, but are so very destructive in real life. We've had some damage requiring repairs around here.

  6. She is beautiful - such big eyes. I hope she behaves and gets to stay a while. She looks very much at home.

  7. That's pretty exciting but definitely watch your chickens and their eggs:) We have them here but only in certain neighborhoods:) I would love to see one here at El Presidio.
