    My Chicken Magazine talks about how these laws are changing...and changing quickly to allow people to have a few chickens in towns and cities.
    A lot of times it is a matter of finding a few towns in your state to change the status quo.
    I'll send you a great article on the topic.

  5. I like their names :-). Do you have neighbors? I am asking because if you have neighbors, do they complain about your rooster and chicken calling in the morning? I want to have chicken too to have some fresh eggs though I am pretty sure I won't be able to eat them and the eggs will hatch into chicks, but I don't think neighbors would allow me have chickens :-).

    Yes, I have neighbors but the chickens seldom make any loud noises. You don't have to have a rooster to have hen eggs and since roosters ARE noisy they are not allowed.
